We’re seeking the support of a National Community Services Manager to join our team in Wellington, Auckland or Christchurch on a permanent, full time basis. Regular travel around the motu will be part of this role.

**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

We’re expanding our Service Delivery team with this brand new leadership role, which will lead the development and performance of our Community teams, to ensure we can help whānau to reach their goals. Specifically, the role will be responsible for improving the sustainability of programmes, reporting and enhancing outcomes for communities.

It’s an exciting time to join Whānau Āwhina Plunket, the work we do is constantly evolving as we develop new and improved ways of doing things. Key priorities for this role include working with our Community Service Managers to develop programmes which align with our goals, the development of Plunket strategic plans in relation to Community Services, and establishing strong networks across the organisation as well as the wider health, community and social sectors.

You’ll be a results focused champion of continuous improvement with strong communication skills and the proven ability to lead and develop effective teams. Your commitment to Te Tiriti ō Waitangi and pro equity, excellent facilitation and presentation skills, and ability to guide others to navigate complex situations, will ensure that you add value.

You will also bring:

- A tertiary qualification in business or related discipline
- Extensive (8 years plus) experience in related field
- Proven commercial and business development experience at a senior level and/or in a management position, in a wide range of environments, preferably with exposure to the NGO, Health and/or Community sectors
- Demonstrated financial, project and people management skills
