As an Administrative Assistant with the Alumni Relations and Development team at the University of Auckland, you will play a key role in supporting alumni engagement initiatives.
This role offers a dynamic mix of administrative tasks, event assistance, and data management, helping to strengthen the University's connection with its global alumni network.

This role supports our University’s alumni (graduate) engagement team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for:

- Assisting with managing Excel files, including searching for users in our database and preparing data for upload to our CRM system.
- Providing administrative support for various projects, including assisting with LinkedIn engagement and other social media platforms.
- Supporting team operations and handling other ad hoc administrative tasks.
- Assisting with events, including occasional after-hours and weekend work. This may include responsibilities such as ticket scanning and event coordination.

We are looking for someone who can work 10-15 hours per week, starting on the **16th of Feb**and continuing through the end of April, with the potential for an extension.
The role offers a flexible working arrangement, with approximately half the hours based at our Princes Street office and the remaining hours remote.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Willingness to learn Raiser’s Edge (CRM platform) and other relevant tools.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Ability to assist with events outside of regular office hours, including weekends (optional).
- Prior experience in administrative roles (preferred but not required).
