**About the role**

Due to a vacancy, we are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner - Commercial. The primary purpose of this position is to provide commercial and analytical resource to Tip Top New Zealand Commercial and Finance Leadership Teams across all products and channels. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, this role is responsible for analysing financial data, providing meaningful commentary and insights to improve company’s performance and profitability, and driving continuous improvements in processes and reporting.

The role requires advanced business intelligence system skills, ideally in SAP/BW/Power BI/Tableau, MS Excel. You will need to use business partnering skills to build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of business objectives. Being able to switch between the detail and taking a whole of business perspective is crucial, as is having the ability to tell a story from the underlying data and facts.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparation and regular review of weekly and monthly reports, with actionable insights, to the required stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Together with the necessary partners undertake analysis of margins, new pricing promotions, reviews of performance & promotional effectiveness.
- Lead, support, and coach stakeholders in creating a collaborative environment driving favourable cross-functional business outcomes.
- Developing visualisations and reports that enable insights to stakeholders on business drivers and performance.
- Promote and work to continuously improve systems and process development to best practice
- Ensure process and governance controls compliance.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualification - preferably majors in Business, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics
- 2-3 years post qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent) experience
- Experience working with high volume and complex data & analytics
- Advanced business intelligence system skills, ideally SAP/BW/Power BI/Tableau, Microsoft Excel
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Exceptional business partnering skills and self-driven
