**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Workshop Setup and Operations**:

- Oversee the setup of the duct sheet metal workshop, including the installation and configuration of machinery such as Meting Laser Cutting Machines, shearing machines, and bending machines.
- Develop and implement workflows for efficient production.
- Ensure all machines are calibrated and maintained to optimize performance.
- **Production Management**:

- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet client requirements.
- Operate and manage the Meting Laser Cutting Machine for precise and high-quality cuts.
- Optimize material usage to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- **Quotation and Costing**:

- Prepare accurate project quotations, factoring in labor, material, and machine operating costs.
- Collaborate with clients to provide competitive and detailed pricing proposals.
- **Technical Expertise**:

- Utilize software such as Duct CAM, AutoCAD, or similar for ductwork design and cutting plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Meting Laser Cutting Machine and other equipment.
- Stay updated on advancements in duct manufacturing technology.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Recruit, train, and lead a team of technicians and operators, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure all products meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Inspect and verify the accuracy of cuts and fabricated products.
- **Inventory and Procurement**:

- Manage inventory of raw materials, consumables, and spare parts for machines.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of high-quality materials.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in duct sheet metal manufacturing, including hands-on experience with Meting Laser Cutting Machines.
- Proficiency in duct fabrication software such as Duct CAM, AutoCAD, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of laser cutting technology and other duct manufacturing equipment.
- Proven experience in preparing quotations and managing workshop budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to set up and manage a start-up manufacturing facility.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or similar efficiency methodologies.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and duct fabrication standards.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to adapt in a start-up environment.

**Salary**: Competitive and negotiable based on experience.
