The Z of 2030 and 2050 needs to look very different to today and joining our newly formed Energy Solutions team as a Mātanga Tukanga Pakihi Aotearoa Business Process Specialist will see you define, streamline and optimise our business processes to ensure we can deliver low carbon solutions at pace to our customers.

Digging into the detail and working right across our Group (Z and Ampol) this broad role will see you sit in on workshops, engage with a range of stakeholders, learn and document current state, design solutions and implement streamlined processes that are scalable, effective and utilising cutting edge technologies.

**This role can be based in either **Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland or Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.**

**You will have the opportunity to**
- Facilitate the building, development and continuous improvement of processes while driving the development of process capability (skills, knowledge, governance, and behaviours)
- Support teams through the business process management lifecycle
- Identify the key interactions between people, processes, and technology to deliver optimised, fit-for-purpose business processes
- Deliver a structured approach for the workshopping and modelling of business processes using BPM notation
- Generate actionable initiatives that will deliver continuous improvement of business processes in Energy Solutions operations to ensure efficient operations
- Work in our newly formed Energy Solutions Business Unit and deliver mahi that will make a real difference to our future

**Qualifications**:
**What you’ll bring to Z**
- Experience in providing improvement initiatives and optimising business processes ideally in a commercial or start up environment
- The ability to develop processes from idea conception to implementation
- Knowledge and curiosity for technology, if you have used Signavio, BPNN 2.0 and are familiar with Six Sigma that would be advantageous but not essential
- A passion for discovering and iterating on solutions to deliver our low carbon future
- The ability to operate as a self-starter who delivers results in a ambiguous, complex and changeable environment
- A strong commercial lens when defining and modelling processes
- A people person with experience in building relationships, influencing and bringing others on the change journey
- Excellent presentation and communication skills across a range of mediums
- The flexibility to travel within Aotearoa and to Australia approximately each quarter

The base salary range for this role is $96,475 to $113,500 per annum, plus 15% bonus based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
