An exciting opportunity has arisen within the New Zealand Police National Procurement and Contracting team for a Manager Contracts. We are looking for someone with experience in Contracts Management. This is a dynamic, varied role with a high level of responsibility, autonomy, and accountability looking after a key portfolio of work. This role reports into the Senior Contracts Manager position.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Contract management of a portfolio of contracts.
- Vendor management through effective supplier relationship management.
- Develop insights and reporting.
- Support the Senior Contracts Manager in developing the contract management function within the organisation.

- Have comprehensive knowledge of contract management practices within a NZ public sector environment.
- Experience in contract management, negotiations, review, and implementation.
- Have a least three years’ experience in contract management role within a similar procurement/commercial environment.
- Be a team player and have a great attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail.

This role is based in the Wellington area. Some travel may be required from time to time.
