We are looking for a Store Manager for a Liquor Store in Whanganui. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing its daily operations, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your key task and job responsibilities will be as per below:

- Undertaking the planning, managing and controlling the store operations
- Implementing and managing the prices of services offered by the business
- Undertaking the promotion and marketing activities to uplift sales and to meet the set targets
- Provide exceptional customer service and create authentic experiences in the store.
- Develop and implement operational procedures, including customer service objectives, operating plans, advertising strategies, purchase plans, store improvements and layouts.
- Creating business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic and enhance profitability.
- Determine and maintain appropriate levels of inventory and manage the inventory process.
- Hiring, training, and overseeing net staff for the store
- Maintain good client relations; resolve any complaints from customers, suppliers and employees.
- Setting the service standard to meet the business requirements.
- Manage overall records and balance daily receipts and disbursements.
- Verify and audit the invoices to catch and correct any errors and submit daily cash and sales records.
- Sometimes travel to different stores of the company within the same region to manage the store if required.
- Assure that the cash register balances at the end of each shift and prepare the banking to update the financial records.
- Developing effective marketing strategies to ensure business profitability.
- Ensuring compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and occupational health and safety regulations.

You will be required to work for **a minimum of 35 hours per week.**

**Other** **Requirements**:

- Minimum of 6-12 months of experience is required in the liquor retail industry
- Having a Manager Certificate is highly preferred.
- Physically fit and healthy
- Available to work on weekends and work on Public Holidays.
- Leadership and organisational skills
- Multitasker

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
