NKT Maintenance Ltd are looking for 1 Retail Store Manager position and 1 Retail Store Assistant position to join our team in Manawatu/Whanganui Region, New Zealand.

Retail Store Manager: 1

We are currently looking for 1 Retail Store Manager position to

join our team in Manawatu/Whanganui Region, New Zealand.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Plan and manage day to day operational aspects of the retail

store

• Determine and monitor product mix required; create and

maintain policies for product mix

• Maintain stock levels and making key decisions about stock

control

• Ensure the store presentation is consistently of highest

standard and complies with all the relevant requirements

• Implement purchasing policies and responsible for all ordering

and dealing with suppliers

• Take marketing and promotional initiatives, deliver innovative

merchandise display and store presentation

• Set prices of the products ensuring the cost of products and

mark up

• Develop and implement promotional strategies to promote

the business
• Deliver excellent service and ensure staff actively engage with

guests to understand their needs and provide an exceptional

experience.

• Ensure all customer queries and complaints are dealt with in a

timely and appropriate manner

• Ensure ordered products are delivered and accurately invoiced

• Maintain records of finances, invoices, stock take, rosters and

incidents

• Undertake budgeting and reviewing the expenses of the store

• Cash handling and summarizing the daily sales at the end of

each working shift.

• Manage day to day banking and accounts of the business

• Manage staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training

employees

• Ensure the business and staff comply with Occupational Health

and Safety guidelines

• Ensure the business meets all Sale and Supply of Liquor Act

requirements

Candidate Requirements:-

• Be Honest and Reliable

• Ability to work on Weekends and rostered shifts

• Be punctual

• Be Drug free

• Clean Criminal History

• Must be clean and tidy

• Ability to commute to work with reliable travel as the store

operates 7 days a week.Experience or Qualification:-

• Relevant level 5 (Diploma or Certificate) qualification OR

Relevant industry work experience of Minimum 1 Year is

required.

• A valid New Zealand Manager's Certificate is

required to manage licensed retail premises.

Hours and Position:-

• It is a full time permanent position with minimum 40

hours +per week.

Pay Rate:-

• $30 to $35 per hour

Retail Store Assistant: 1

We are also currently looking for 1 Retail Store Assistant

to join our team in Manawatu/Whanganui Region, New Zealand.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers, ask questions, and drive sales;

• Comply with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act and Host

Responsibility policies;

• Support the retail store manager with an array of operational

tasks and projects, including stock

• Assisting with the ongoing management of stock such as

product inventories and participating in stocktakes

• Labeling goods and ensuring the correct price is displayed;

• Accepting payment by a variety of payment methods and

preparing sales invoices;
• Assisting the service delivery team with orders;

• Opening and closing of premises and associated security;

• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising

standards;

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent

sales service;

• Be courageous with being bold, innovative, and not afraid to

take on any aspect of the role.

Candidate Requirements:

Work Experience Or Qualification:

• Work Experience or Qualification is not required as full On the

job training will be provided.

Hours and Position: -

• It is a full time permanent position with minimum 30 hours per

week.

Pay Rate:

• $24.50 to $26 per hour
