Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the activation of shoppers and staff in retail environments through the effective communication and implementation of the marketing strategy for Dulux NZ brands.
Working closely with various teams on a daily basis, your stakeholders will include (but are not limited to) the Retail Sales Team, retailers, colour services, and customer services.
It’s an exciting role where no two days are the same, but on a typical day you might find yourself:
- Providing marketing solutions in line with customer needs and pain points
- Understanding the category via store exposure/visits, awareness of competitor activity in various mediums
- Managing customer events and communications via EDMs and other marketing media to ensure maximum leverage and consistent messaging across brands
- Championing POS and in store marketing collaterals’ creative look and feel, adherence to brand style guides, ensuring these are executed consistently
- Delivering our consumer and community engagement programmes
- Managing the marketing teams’ internal communications as well as sell in of activities to all quarterly retail and management team meetings
- Providing effective administration and project management support to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Supporting the wider marketing team in implementing multi-functional projects

**Skills and Experience**
- A passion for retail, promotions and great communications
- Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills
- Tertiary qualification in Business/Marketing or related discipline
- 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing or commercial environment, where you have been interfacing with external customers or different stakeholders
- Self-starter with high energy levels, who can thrive with tight deadlines and multiple projects
- Experience in a creative agency environment will be highly regarded
- Experience in delivering comprehensive marketing plans with all aspects of the marketing mix is a plus
