- About the role:

- You will be reporting directly to the Marketing Manager and the focus of the role is to efficiently define and execute a digital marketing and social media strategy across all Target Markets with the clear aim to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- This is an opportunity for a driven and highly motivated individual to bring a fresh new perspective and approach to improve Sika’s web presence, create online marketing campaigns, and build a clear digital footprint to showcase Sika products and services.
- The key duties are:
- Assisting the Marketing Manager in defining and implementing a yearly digital marketing and social media strategy that supports the overall Sika brand plan.
- Defining and executing digital marketing and social media campaigns including all online promotional activities.
- Building and managing the company’s social media profiles and presence, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
- Drive and optimise the Sika New Zealand URL platforms and adapt the website to ensure it supports a clear customer journey.
- Creating shareable and relevant content for our different customer groups and according to specific networks (including blog posts, internal and external newsletters, webinars, infographics and video etc).

To be successful in this role you will need:
- Degree/ Diploma in Digital Marketing, or an equivalent tertiary qualification.
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, trends, strategies, and best practices.
- Outstanding communication skills across numerous platforms including written, verbal, listening and multi-media.
- Ability to take ownership of a project and have strong execution skills.
- Ability to define suitable digital marketing initiatives with the aim to leverage the brand of the company.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, SEO and SOM.
- Experience with PPC advertising.
- Experience with marketing automation.
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to rework technical content to suit target audience.
- Self-motivated, confident, energetic and creative.
- Ability to communicate with people on all levels and to work in a team.
- A sense of humour will also serve you well in this role.
