Due to strong ongoing Trade growth, we now have an exciting and newly created opportunity available to join our Albany, Auckland based Support Centre as a **Trade Strategic Pricing Manager.**

This role will see you lead a specialised pricing team, whilst partnering with Trade team members including our store network to improve operational efficiencies, accelerate profitable Trade and market share growth, while also assisting in driving improved customer experiences. One of the key pillars to succeeding in this role will be providing strategic pricing insights, reporting/performance metrics, operational input and leadership around business tool utilisation and creation.

**What you’ll deliver**:

- Develop and implement Trade pricing strategies that support the company's business objectives
- Development of a Trade Pricing Centre of excellence
- Improve and execute pricing strategies, processes, and policies in line with the Trade Growth Strategy
- Develop pricing strategies by analysing national market data, competitor prices, and customer demand, and set prices that are consistent, competitive and profitable
- Consider the use of AI-based tools to determine price metrics, set price levels, and manage price implementation.
- Build and maintain key relationships with stores and Mitre 10 Support Centre
- Key leadership role in the evolution and execution of the Mitre 10 Trade pricing strategy

**Core capabilities you will need**:

- Significant pricing management experience obtainined in a large, fast paced environment
- High level of analytical literacy and understanding
- Strong leadership, influencing skills and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional proficiency in using tools such as Excel for analysing and interpreting complex data sets
- Skill in creating clear and effective visual representations of data using tools like Power BI or similar.
- Previous SAP pricing experience would be beneficial.
