Team Leader - Customer Service - Contact Centre - Public Sector - People Management

Be a part of one of the largest reputable public sector organisation that have public safety and New Zealand law at the forefront of what they do. You will be based in Wellington CBD and part of a team that has a common goal to make New Zealand a better, safer place.

**Your new role**
You will have the exciting and autonomous role of building and supporting a customer services team. You will be managing the process from the start of this new team until they are functioning and running smoothly. As the Team Leader, you will have 4-6 direct reports and will support the team through training for inbound and outbound calls, New Zealand law around service advice and be the escalation point for callers when required.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Leadership and people management experience (phone based preferred but not essential)
- Experience in a customer service setting (phone based preferred but not essential)
- A genuine passion for proving a good service and helping people
- Ability to provide innovative ideas
- A strong vision for success
