**The opportunity**

This role is crucial in ensuring that the workplace is a safe environment for all employees. You will have a passion for occupational health and safety, and the ability to reduce H&S risks and improve safety measures.

In this position, you will work closely with leadership and other key stakeholders to understand the strategic objectives and business goals. You will identify opportunities to enhance safety measures and reduce risks and help to create a safety culture that prioritises the well-being of all employees.

Prior experience in health and safety is necessary however, all levels of experience will be considered for this role. The key is having a passion for creating a safer work environment that can have a positive impact on employee morale and productivity is however crucial.

**Some key responsibilities in the roles include**:

- Train and develop people leaders on the use and understanding of systems
- Engage and facilitate with people leaders in the development of policies and procedures
- Train and develop our leaders and employees in the identification, assessment and documentation of operational hazards/risks
- Provide guidance and support for the use of the online reporting and recording
- Supporting people leaders and employees with completing health and safety assigned actions
- Support Critical Risk projects
- Actively support the business in the investigation of total recordable injuries and events
- Coach our leaders and teams in all matters of H&S
- Work directly with our leaders to clarify strategy, perform organisational diagnosis and deliver supportive health and safety strategies
