**About the role**

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our company in Auckland. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, the Specialist will work to find opportunities to engage FBNZ’s employees, customers and stakeholders in our ongoing efforts to help Kiwis work smarter. This position will also lead and execute Marketing Communications activity across the business, including areas such as sponsorship, events and brand campaigns. In addition, the Marketing Communications Specialist will act as an overflow resource to assist the Bids & Tenders function by providing backup support to collate information from around the business and support effective RFP responses.

Other duties include:

- Liaison with sponsorship partners on day-to-day needs, such as contra value tracking and reporting, creation of promotional materials, and other account management tasks.
- Monitoring entitlements across the portfolio of sponsorships to ensure FBNZ maximises the benefits afforded to it by these sponsorships to promote our brand
- Tracking sponsorship renewal cycle to ensure FBNZ is able to renew or conclude sponsorships in accordance with our contractual obligations
- Planning with partners for various sponsorship-related events, both for staff and customers
- Plan and execute memorable corporate events to enhance our reputation and engagement with customers, partners and stakeholders
- Support Digital Marketing strategy through lead acquisition at these events

**Skills & experience**

We are looking for someone with the ability to build relationships with all levels within the business. Along with this, you will also have:

- 4 + years Marketing Communications experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications will be advantageous
- Strong organisational and project management skills to manage multiple projects at once ensuring deadlines are met
- Ability to build relationships with varied stakeholder groups
- A strong sense of integrity and accountability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
