Blockhouse Bay Veterinary Centre has a great opportunity for a Small Animal Veterinarian to join our experienced and supportive team - this full-time role, with no sole charge, is perfect for someone who enjoys working as part of a multi vet team.

**The role**:
- Flexible full-time role - exact hours negotiable between 30-40 per week
- Mix of shorter and longer days = great work/life balance
- 1:2 Saturdays 8.30am-2pm offset by a weekday off
- 45-60mins daily block for phone calls/case follow up/research
- One hour lunch break
- No after hours, on-call, Sundays or public holidays
- You’ll be joining a large team of 6 vets and 7 veterinary nurses/support staff and growing, which means there is plenty of support in the clinic each day.
**About the clinic & team**
- We’re a friendly bunch and enjoy lots of shared laughter (and lunches). We have a large staff room complete with a treat drawer and Nespresso machine (free coffee). We love a shared lunch and have been known to devour a few pizzas together as a team after a busy day
- Friendly and highly skilled nursing support staff - they are responsible for collecting bloods, placing IV catheters etc so vets can focus on case management
- Supportive team - regularly discuss individual case management, no sole charge so there’s always another Vet on hand for any tricky cases. Vets have overlap in the break time in the middle of day to discuss cases/handover cases
- Our spacious clinic is air-conditioned throughout, 3 consult rooms, purpose-built prep area with non-sterile surgical table, anaesthetic machine and new sterile surgical suite
- Lots of toys including IM3 dental machine, im3 dental xray suite, Digital xrays, In house laboratory - chemistry blood machine, new Olympus microscope, urinalysis equipment
