Veterinary Receptionist – Casual / Part-Time | Tauranga
Join our friendly team in beautiful Tauranga
We're a small, family-owned veterinary clinic looking for a warm, caring, and capable Receptionist to join our close-knit team. This is a casual, part-time position (averaging 1–2 days per week) and includes two Saturday mornings per month.

About the role
As our front-line superstar, you'll be the first friendly face (and voice) our clients meet. Your role will include:
- Greeting clients and making them feel welcome
- Triaging patients over the phone and providing sound advice
- Scheduling appointments and managing bookings
- Supporting our vets and nurses with smooth clinic flow
- Handling payments and general reception duties
Because you'll often be the first point of contact for worried pet owners, empathy, patience, and clear communication are essential.
What we're looking for
- Some veterinary or animal care industry experience
- Confidence with phone triage and booking systems
- A warm, professional, and approachable manner
- The ability to stay calm and organised under pressure
- A genuine love for people and their pets
- A great fit with our friendly, family-style team
Experience with EzyVet or previous veterinary reception experience would be a bonus, but not essential.
