An exciting opportunity has arisen at New Zealand's leading insurance brokerage for an experienced Fire and General Insurance specialist to join the team in this newly created position as a Personal Lines Broker.

To be considered for this role you will have a sound understanding of the current NZ market and the recent changes to Personal Lines/Domestic insurance. You will be managing existing client relationships, capitalizing on further sales opportunities whilst also maintaining strong relationships with internal parties. You will be working closely with a team of commercial brokers therefore a transparent communication style is key for your success. Resilience and a methodical, organised approach to work is critical to ensure you can manage a busy workload.

**Key Requirements**:

- Personal /Domestic insurance experience (claims, underwriting, sales)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Outstanding relationship building skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office
- Positive attitude with a drive to learn and develop

This is a well established book of business and we are looking for someone who can pick it up immediately and service relationships to the highest standard. It will be a fast paced and often demanding role which requires confidence and a natural ability to build rapport with clients both face to face and over the phone.
