We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Chief Operations Officer based in Christchurch, New Zealand. As the COO, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness across all departments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement operational strategies, plans, and procedures to drive business growth and achieve company objectives.
- Oversee and optimize the performance of all departments, ensuring streamlined operations and effective coordination.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions to drive operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other executives to develop and execute strategic plans, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth and mitigate potential risks.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Chief Operations Officer or in a similar senior leadership role.
- In-depth understanding of operational functions and best practices.
- Demonstrated track record of driving operational efficiency and implementing process improvements.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the recruitment or executive search industry is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
