Roles and Responsibilities

As a Retail Assistant, you are required to perform the following task and duties, but not limited to:

- Ensure an exceptionally high level of customer service during the shift.
- Assist manager in purchasing as per requirement and the following budget
- Keep a record of all financial transactions during duty hours
- Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions during the shift
- Connecting with customers and taking random customer feedback to assess their satisfaction regarding customer-service
- Assisting the Manager with the smooth implication of policies and procedures
- Assist manager in recruitment, selection and hiring of employees
- Assist the manager in preparing a budget and estimating prices for different types of expenses and ensure liquidity to maintain appropriate cash flow.
- Ensure products are presentable and clean
- Receive deliveries and conduct stock take
- Be aware of shoplifting and payment or identity fraud
- Run shifts when the Store Manager isnt on the premises.
- Ensuring the security of the premises and staff.
