**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

This is an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to work alongside experienced senior clinicians and the multi-disciplinary team within the. Diabetes service. You will provide care and support for people predominately with Type 1 diabetes but also those with complex Type 2 Diabetes.

Te Whatu Ora Waikato Regional Diabetes Service provides secondary level care to those within the Waikato Region. This expands as far as Coromandel, Taumarunui, Te Kauwhata and the Raglan coast. We have a large multi-disciplinary team and promote a positive approach to teamwork. We are committed to and support learning and development of our staff to give the best possible care to our patients.

- Qualified as a Nurse Practitioner in New Zealand
- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Full drivers licence
