Our People Advisor position blends daily HR generalist responsibilities with forward-thinking initiatives aimed at supporting broader company goals and improvements. Relevant company goals include, but are not limited to, coordinating our learning and development initiatives, supporting our recruitment and onboarding process, and initiating enhanced systems of working that support the growth of Envelope. Working closely with our People + Culture + Development Lead, you’ll be providing day-to-day HR support and guidance on regulations and legislation for our Envelope team.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively supporting and advising managers on People activities aligned to current employment law/regulations and business requirements.
- Assisting with the setup and continuous improvement of HR systems and processes. This role will have a strong focus on supporting learning & development across the business as we bring our ambitious 3 year strategy to life.
- Coordinating / leading a wide range of generalist activities ranging from end-to-end recruitment and exiting, reporting, performance reviews and goal setting, remuneration, and employment relations etc.
- With support of People + Culture + Development Lead, coaching and guiding managers through HR/ER processes such as performance improvement plans, mentorship opportunities, and the disciplinary process.

What you’ll bring
- At least 3+ years of effective stakeholder management, HR and ER Advisory experience, including experience in the design and delivery of learning & development systems and processes.
- Tertiary qualification in HR/ER.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate through the complexities of HR and ER.
- A growth mindset where you proactively take ownership of your personal development through feedback, learning on the job and self-directed learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding that clear communication is a key contributing factor in all employment relationships
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and a willingness to learn a wide range of technology and systems
- Experience using and maintaining HRIS systems ideal.
- Must be able to commit to 30+ hours per week over 5 days, with some flexibility around start and finish times.
- Adaptive and responsive to company needs with the ability to produce results in a tight timeframe.
