The Arts & Culture unit is a group of regional teams that work across Community Wellbeing and with other council departments. We create opportunities for participation in arts, culture, and creativity across Tāmaki Makaurau.

We are seeking an energetic, creative and highly organised Programmer to work in the Creative Programming team. This is a vital role that will develop and deliver the regional arts and culture programme and manage relationships supporting the achievement of key strategic outcomes for the Arts and Culture unit.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

- Innovation and showcase a creative mindset.
- Highly developed management strengths including personal resilience and the ability to align effort to strategy and vision.
- Budget and contract management skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships and develop networks.
- Flexibility and a collaborative approach to work
- Cultural understanding and sensitivity - particularly concerning tangata whenua, tikanga Māori and Te Reo and Moana Oceania peoples.

**This role is a Band G role, we would be looking to appoint the successful applicant at a salary of between $85 - $100k depending on experience. This is a full-time, permanent role, based in the Auckland CBD.
