Road Maintenance Foreperson

**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Road Maintenance Foreperson to take the reigns and lead our growing team in Wellington. Overseeing maintenance works you will guide the team to ensure works are completed to the satisfaction of our customers and that all targets (productivity, quality, and safety) are met.

**About you**
- Previous experience in a similar position within the civil construction industry
- Team leadership skills and the ability to motivate and mentor a team with a “continual improvement” philosophy
- Knowledge of and experienced in civil construction specifications and procedures
- A flexible work approach to deal with unexpected events/make decisions and provide direction to work teams, as no two days are the same
- High standard of workmanship
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong safety and quality focus
