This is why **Bupa Gl**enburn Care Home** in New Lynn is searching for a **Laundry Worker** to join the team and make a real difference to the lives of our residents. This is a **permanent, part-time** position working an **average of 22 hours per week,**on a Monday to Sunday rotating roster shift pattern.
- ** Hours of work are 8:30am - 3:30pm on a roster pattern of 3 days on, 3 days off.**:

- You will work a total of 136.5 hours in a 6-weekly roster cycle**. This includes some weekends.**

**Where You Will Make an Impact**
- Ensuring all care is taken with the residents' personal clothing and returned to owners.
- Operating all laundry equipment as specified.
- Meeting of daily schedule to keep laundry up to date and advising Manager of any issues that impact on the maintenance of this.
- Maintaining clean/dirty delineation areas within the laundry.
- Monitoring of linen supplies and advising line manager of replacement needs.
- Ensure all residents are treated with dignity and respect.

**What** About You**
- Previous experience working in a commercial laundry is preferred, however not essential as we will provide training.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm, strong empathy, and a passion for making a difference to our residents’ lives.
- You will be a team player, with the ability to work independently, and who is prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into whatever needs to get done.
- Have reliable transport or travel arrangements.
