Intermediate Designer

**YOUR ROLE**

In your role as the Intermediate Designer for the Baby Vertical team, your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of design disciplines, including digital, motion, and print. Your expertise in these diverse areas, combined with your notable proficiency in packaging design, will position you as a key contributor in driving design initiatives within the context of our baby-focused product line.

**HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT**
- Lead the roll-out of packaging designs, ensuring design consistency, continuity and quality control.
- Mentor and oversee junior members - packaging and general design skills.
- Make a significant contribution to overall team productivity eg:

- Working quickly and efficiently to execute your allocated design briefs to a high standard, on time.
- Always communicate if you think there is a better way to do something (creatively or process-wise)

**CORE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop packaging designs in conjunction with our NPD team in NZ.
- Review and approve packaging artwork supplied by our China team for design consistency.
- Oversee the print production process and approvals for packaging with our factory in China.
- Conceptualise and design creative solutions for offline collateral e.g. influencer boxes, POS, stands/booths for retailers and events.
- Create digital assets eg social tiles, Instagram stories, animations, videos.
- Create eDMs, presentations, website modules in Figma
- Create illustrations in the brand style for online assets, packaging, icons and tiles
- Create packaging renders and mockups
- Colour correction of images and video
- Assisting with art direction for content photoshoots
- Management of Adobe Assets Library

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- 3-6 years of proven experience as a graphic designer
- Strong understanding of packaging design
