**The opportunity**:
**Are you a qualified Parts Interpreter and have experience in Earthmoving or Capital Equipment industry?** If so, then this is a superb opportunity to join a global OEM that genuinely cares for its customers and staff.
Reporting to the After-Market Manager, the role will see you interpret, process and expedite customer parts requirements placed by telephone, mail, facsimiles, counter enquiries or other electronic medium, for our existing product lines. This position will assist with all queries regarding parts sales and deliveries from our Waikato Branch.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Delivery of high-quality parts interpretation in a timely and professional manner through analysing parts books & other systems to supply correct parts.
- Provide customers with accurate estimates of lead time & cost utilizing the Komatsu inventory and parts pricing systems.
- Promote the company and its products positively, promoting and following quality assurance processes, identifying, and reporting any problems and suggesting remedies.
- Maximise sales through proactively engaging with customers and providing solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service resulting in a positive customer experience.
**The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for**:
- Experience as Parts Interpreter preferably within earthmoving and capital equipment industry
- Experience in inventory control and warehouse systems
- Understanding of Parts Sales & supply chain activities
- Customer focussed and the ability to build strong working relationships
- Skills in Microsoft suite and Microsoft AX (highly desirable)
- Current driver’s licence is essential
- Forklift licence and OHS endorsement is advantageous
