**About the Role**
As an Infrastructure Engineer you will be a critical member of a high performing Infrastructure Services team responsible for the administration, management, and maintenance across Cloud, Infrastructure and Wintel deployments for our customers. This role is integral to the success of the well-established and growing Cloud & Infrastructure Services practice, ensuring our portfolio of technology services are delivered and maintained to a high standard.
**Main Duties**
- Maintenance and management of various Cloud, Infrastructure & Platform services including on-prem and cloud Wintel deployments
- Develop, support and enhance deployments of Cloud, Infrastructure and Wintel environments
- Develop, support and enhance deployments of Cloud services including Azure, Microsoft 365 and Azure AD
- Developing and maintaining secure and reliable infrastructure
- Developing and delivering various components of Wintel & infrastructure platforms
- Optimizing the architecture and infrastructure, cloud and Wintel services
- Solid understanding of current Cloud, Wintel, & Infrastructure trends and technologies
- Follow standardised ITIL frameworks relating to Incident, Security, Problem and Change Management processes
- Create and maintain strong technical documentation for managed systems and services
- Fulfilment of BAU requests, project delivery tasks and technology initiatives
- Attend customer meetings and workshops where applicable
- Develop and enhance technology processes to improve efficiencies across the deployment base
**About You**
The position will require someone with proven technical experience managing, maintaining, enhancing, and further developing use of Cloud, Infrastructure and Wintel environments, utilising best practices to ensure maximum uptime, performance and optimisation across services utilised. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a highly skilled technical team, providing exposure to a wide range of technologies disciplines. Key skills & experience include:
- At least 4+ years in managing, configuring, enhancing, and maintaining Infrastructure & Wintel deployments across hybrid cloud environments (on-prem and Azure)
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure, Cloud & Wintel technologies such as:
- Windows Server Operating Systems
- Windows technology services such as DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Hybrid, etc
- Microsoft Azure & 365 products and services
- Azure AD and Identity Services
- Network architecture, configuration, and deployment fundamentals
- Virtual and Remote App services such as RDS & AVD
- On-prem cloud technologies such as VMware
- Backup and Data Protection fundamentals
- High Availability & Disaster Recovery architecture and deployments
