**How you’ll make an impact**
We are looking for a talented production manager to join our global Media team, on a 12 month fixed term maternity cover. This role will create captivating video, photo and motion graphics projects as part of Xero’s internal creative Hub. In this role, you will primarily focus on digital video projects for our Global Media team and will support producers who work closely with internal partners to create compelling briefs and then plan, execute and deliver leading digital campaigns that promote Xero products, services, the company and the brand.
**What you’ll do**
Based in Auckland but working with a global team, you will be primarily responsible for day to day production management of these activities and will be required to deliver on time, with high quality effective creative and champion a positive cultural environment. Working alongside a team of production managers and led by producers, you’ll be responsible for managing our production resources and be the glue that pulls a production together. This is a diverse role and you’ll need to exhibit project management proficiency, administration competence, excellent communication skills and top notch understanding of media production.
**What you’ll bring with you**
You’ll be a great team player with the ability to work independently and communicate efficiently. You’ll have:
- 3-4+ years experience in a media production role required.
- An understanding of the video and motion graphics production process.
- An understanding of video hosting platforms such as Brightcove and YouTube. - Proven ability to drive and manage profitability on every project.
- Experience with scheduling, budgeting, crewing, locations booking and other standard Media production tasks.
- Experience in managing multiple complex projects with multiple stakeholders and team members.
- Experience with contracting suppliers and organising crew.
- Experience in managing communications across cross functional teams.
- Experience working in a global/multi-regional environment is desired.
- Experience in an ever evolving, fast paced environment.
