**The Role**

Join our team on the SaaS ERP experience Freightways is embarking upon.

This is an opportunity to bring your experience to large-scale, integrated systems and innovate in the freight and logistics space to deliver a world-class solution to Freightways and be a key part of delivering a completely tested solution.

**Some of what you will do**:

- Manage tasks independently and meet project deadlines with mínimal supervision.
- Create REST API solutions and supporting microservices directly to customers and the internal business, utilising principles and best practices
- Promote the use of shift-left, contract first and automation approaches to develop robust, high-quality software to meet the customer needs and in line with our development team standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
- Identify and promote opportunities to extend and enhance our solutions and development standards.
- As we adopt DevOps practices, you will be part of the support team to ensure the health of our environments.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.
- Perform testing and ensure software quality and performance.
- Contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

**What we're looking for**
- Experience in software development, with a focus on.NET and SQL.
- Excellent communications and collaboration skills, comfortable discussing ideas with teammates, stakeholders and customers
- AWS or other cloud service
- Continuous integration and deployment practices
- Experience in monitoring, logging practices, and root cause analysis
- Familiarity with Test-Driven/Behaviour-Driven Development
- Knowledge and understanding of the Scrum framework and the Agile principles
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
