Production Plant Assistant

Our Penrose site is in need of a ‘Production Plant Assistant & Cylinder Filler’’ to join our team. In summary, you will be trained and supervised in the areas of safe cylinder checking, maintenance and filling. All works are to be carried out in a safe manner, as per our operational standards and standard operating procedures (SOP).

Typically, you will start your mornings on site at 6am finishing at 2.30pm. Monday to Friday, with the option of additional, agreed and paid overtime (case-by-case). You’ll be physically fit with the ability to load/unload and manoeuvre our equipment and cylinders of up to 25kgs. These heavier items are to be transported with the use of a trolley.

**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?**:

- Cylinder checking: physical inspection of new and return cylinders & bundles
- Cylinder maintenance: inspect the cylinder treatment equipment such as hydrotest machine, dryer, painting equipment, oven before operation to be safe and can be operated properly.
- Cylinder accessories: conduct replacement of a defect accessories
- Quality check maintenance: conduct quality check of dew point check per batch cylinder VBO as product specification needed.
- Load/unload cylinder trucks via forklift and at times by hand. _Therefore a current NZ forklift licence is highly sort after _
- Organise cylinders of gas for distribution and re-fill within facility

- Effective communicator: ability to read/interpret an extensive variety of instructions, safety, SOPs and procedure manuals etc
- Ability to lift up to 25 kgs and use of trolley to transport these goods
- Valid NZ Open driver’s licence
- NZ forklift licence: _highly desired but not required _
