Plant Operator

You will be involved in the day-to-day operational activities of its Facility and Auckland Terminal. You will be responsible for de-bagging, bagging, and dispatching of stock. You will also be required to assist with the loading operations at the Terminal Load out. You will be based at the Client's state-of-the-art plant located at the Auckland ports and will be reporting to the Upper North Island Operations Manager.

**About the Role**

As a Plant Operator, you will be involved in the day-to-day operational activities of its Facility and Auckland Terminal. You will be responsible for de-bagging, bagging, and dispatching of stock. You will also be required to assist with the loading operations at the Terminal Load out.

You will be based at the Client's state-of-the-art plant located at the Auckland ports and will be reporting to the Upper North Island Operations Manager.

Your Main Responsibilities
- Ball Mill Systems Operator is responsible for the maintenance and efficient operation of all mobile, screening, grinding and crushing equipment.
- Responsible for ensuring the correct feed is being supplied to each system.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all associated equipment.
- Responsible for the quality of products delivered to the bins of all systems and for the quality of all bulk loaded products going to other locations on his shift.
- Operate a heavy vehicle/yellow machine to a professional standard.
- Working with the Operations Manager to implement the general operations of the De-bagger/Bagger.
- Determining and planning the volume of bagged cement required for the day.
- Ensure Shed and yard appearance are maintained to a high standard including sweeping, washing, etc.

**About You**
- National Certificate of Educational Attainment as a minimum qualification
- Attitude and Aptitude - you must be willing to be trained and learn, upskill to gain other skillsets
- Flexible with work hours (willing to work maximum 12hr per shift)
- Passion for safety
- Basic computer skills
- Driving (Class 1) License

Ideal but not essential skills:

- Trade background/experience in manufacturing/mill experience or similar
- Storeman/Stock control experience
- Forklift with (F) endorsement and loader driving experience
- WTR license
- Front End Loader

Full training will be provided on equipment, systems, and procedures, including gaining certifications required to perform technical skills.
