**About the Role**:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive **Plant Operator** to operate and maintain equipment at our resource recovery facility. This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude and experience with plant and machinery. You will also assist with vacuum loading jobs outside the yard as an offsider.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain plant equipment and systems
- Perform basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs
- Assist with off-site vacuum loading work
- Operate loaders, diggers, and other machinery
- Adhere to all safety and environmental procedures

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Proven mechanical experience
- Experience operating plant and heavy machinery
- Willingness to work outside the yard on vacuum loading jobs
- Loader and digger operating experience is preferred
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Valid class 4 driver’s licence
- Physical fitness for manual and offsider work
- Dependable, with a strong work ethic
