**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**
The Consumer Experience Administrator is an essential part of our team, helping us deliver quality service to our patients and whānau. They work as part of a team under the direction of the Consumer Experience Lead. A typical day can involve receiving and processing feedback from our consumers and their whānau, assisting with enquiries, arranging meetings and generally helping to keep the Consumer Experience function running seamlessly. With support from the other members in the Consumer Experience and wider Quality and Innovation team, the Consumer Experience Administrator ensures that our services are set up to provide the best experience for our patients and their whānau.

The Consumer Experience Administrator will also be responsible for facilitating the effective functioning of the Consumer Council, to act as a resource to the council chair and to provide coordination and administrative support to projects and initiatives being led by the council. The role ultimately supports Te Whatu Ora Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral to ensure consumers actively participate at all levels of the organisation to help improve health outcomes of our community.

It's a busy, rewarding, and varied role that makes a huge contribution to our patients and whānau wellbeing.

The provision of an excellent consumer and whānau focused administrative and office management service will support Te Whatu Ora Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral and the Consumer Experience team to achieve a person and whānau-centred model of care, where patients are partners in their own health care.
