Mō te tūranga | About the Role
As a Risk Analyst within the Risk Analytics department, you will be expected to collaborate with other team members and wider risk team to:
- Be responsible for the effective operation of the Risk Analytics SAS Environment.
- Oversee user management, permissions, and security model.
- Work with users to provide advice on the best practice for on platform activities.
- Oversee production releases and source code control.
- Perform data analysis to support risk management initiatives and validate hypotheses.
- Document workflows, share ideas and implement improvements to drive progress across the team.
- Contributing to the delivery of the monthly production of Provisioning and Credit Risk, Risk Weighted Assets.
Work to continuously improve processes and procedures in Risk Analytics
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
- 2-3 years of SQL and SAS coding experience is essential.
- Experience in SAS Platform administration.
- UNIX administration experience highly desirable.
- Experience with GITLab or other source code control packages.
- Preferred background in Finance or in a similar area.
- Well organised, logical thinker, problem solver.
- Strong work ethic, professional and personable.
- Ability to cope with high pressure and rapidly changing priorities.
