Pricing Analyst

**The Role**

We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity for a **Pricing Analyst** to support our Pricing and Portfolio Analytics team.

In this role, you will assist with producing pricing analyses through the use of statistical -based techniques, to support the business in achieving its strategic objectives.

This role can be based in either our Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch offices.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Executing pricing tasks to assist in the accurate and timely delivery of pricing tasks that produce insightful:

- Statistical Premium reviews
- Rate reviews
- Portfolio analyses
- Solutions to ad-hoc pricing requests
- Assisting in the production of pricing data and reports

**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualification in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science or other analytical disciplines.
- Basic knowledge in statistical and data manipulation language(s) and visualisation software (for example, SQL, SAS, Python, R or Tableau).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in particular the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to a range of stakeholders
- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the achievement of team objectives
- Demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience extracting and analysing complex data, preferably in general insurance, actuarial or analytical roles is highly desirable
