**Āu Mahi | What You Will Do**
As Faculty Manager for Te Kaupeka Ako | Faculty of Education and Te Kaupeka Oranga | Faculty of Health your purpose is to provide operational leadership that supports the University's academic mission, in pursuit of its Strategic Plan.
As a key professional leader you will partner with a Faculty's Executive Dean to ensure the effective and efficient leadership, management, and development of Faculty-wide operational activity. This includes financial management of the Faculty, facilitating the development of strategic plans and translation to annual operational plans, ensuring alignment of the operational and administrative services to the Faculty's needs. In this capacity, you will act as a business adviser to the Executive Dean, Academic Heads, and the Faculty Leadership Team.
Through the development of strong relationships, you will manage the interface between service units and the Faculty, agreeing the standards and delivery of shared and embedded services to ensure excellent, streamlined and timely services.
You will be a member of the Faculty Leadership Team and Faculty Board(s). Additionally, you will work together with the Director of Faculty Operations to ensure UC has consistent and optimal business processes across faculties.
