**Ko tō tūranga - Your role**:
The Facilities Engineer is a critical role in the Facilities Team that will ensure the success of the Core Network that connects millions of New Zealanders. Primarily based out of our data centres and network sites, you will manage your own schedule to attend to the electrical and general facilities maintenance of Vodafone’s sites.
**Ko tō mahi - What you’ll do**:
This role will take responsibility for the continuous operation of Vodafone data centres and network sites, and will involve both supervisory and hands on work of a broad spectrum of facilities and electrical work. Core aspects of the role include:
- Ensure proactive maintenance activities are carried out to high standard to achieve network stability, agreed performance metrics and reduce customer impacting events
- Managing Incident, Change & Problem tickets to achieve agreed KPI’s
- Build of Vodafone Facilities & Services capital projects when required as part of FY capital plan
- Manage internal, vendor & support contractor relationships to achieve efficient & effective outcomes for customers by reducing mean time to repair
- Support/Participate in 24x7 callout roster as required for Facilities & Services

- Valid NZ Electrical Registration
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage your own calendar
- Reliability & confidence to take ownership for end results, as well as the experience of impacting internal & external customers on the way
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues effectively and inspire others to ensure achievement of a common goal
- In-depth knowledge of Telco Power and Building technologies and products & services.
- Expert knowledge of Standby Power architecture and excellent fault analysis capability.
- Expert knowledge or air conditioning systems
