Our OTs in our Residential Setting (share the workload over a number of residential houses) clinical work includes: Kiritaki activities include direct therapy intervention, art, baking, sports, hydrotherapy, celebration of special events, and community-based activities.
You will be helping kiritaki identify rehabilitation goals, assess skills and identifying occupational performance issues and then develop rehabilitation programs to assist kiritaki regain and rehabilitate skills that have been impacted by severe brain injury.
You will be working with kiritaki and their whanāu in the areas of personal cares, transfers, functional mobility, equipment management (with support from specialised equipment assessors), cognitive and social skills, leisure and group activities and community integration.
ABI looks forward to hearing from you
