**The Role**

This is a wonderful opportunity to lead an energetic and busy team as a Warehouse Shift Lead at the state of the art Synlait site in Dunsandel

These roles are ideal for leaders of people with Warehouse experience who can step into the Managers shoes when required for Warehouse operations.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Shift Lead works on a 2 on 2 off roster averaging around a 42.5 hour week.

The main responsibilities in this role include
- Leading the team in direction and knowledge of good Warehouse practise
- Providing a back up to the Warehouse Manager and stepping into their shoes in times of need.
- Supporting the supply chain officers to keep Synlait plants operational
- Continuous improvement ideas around inward and outward good movements and SAP utilisation
- Promotion of Synlait health, safety and quality process

This is an energetic role, with some heavy lifting involved and would suit a strong, self motivated and forward thinking person, who is able to engender and promote a dedicated work ethic into their team.

To be considered for these roles will require you to have the ‘Right to Work’ in New Zealand and
- Previous leadership experience from a Warehouse operations environment.
- Excellent people management skills and communication ability
- Capability of actively using and developing SAP systems at work.
- Good computer knowledge and experience
- The ability to undertake heavy lifting if required
