**The Role**

Our exceptional people see everything as an opportunity and are always striving to make more from milk. Right now, we are looking for a Warehouse Operator - Central Store to join our busy team.

The main purpose of this role is to provide support that ensures the daily operational requirements for the Central Store - Dunsandel are met, within the warehouse, both nationally and internationally.

Key accountabilities include:

- Stock take accuracy
- Planning and coordination of inwards good
- Processing incoming goods and liaising with transport providers and suppliers
- Liaising with Procurement and reporting damages/discrepancies

Key to your success will be the ability to form strong relationships and display well developed communication and interpersonal skills.

**Qualification**
- NCEA Level 2 or equivalent qualification
- MPI Transitional Facility Accredited Person
- Forklift Operating Certificate (OSH and F Endorsement) - desirable but not essential

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP systems is preferred
- 2-3 years’ logistics operations/warehousing experience preferred
- Previous experience in milk powder plant processes is highly desirable but not essential
- Understanding of and experience with standard warehousing practices
- Proficiency with ERP systems is desirable
- Computer literacy and MS Office programmes essential to intermediate level
