Senior Warehouse Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Warehouse Operator looking to take the next step up. You will be supporting the Shift Leaders in managing daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow of the warehouse. You will have a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes and ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure.

This role offers a great work life balance, working on a 4 on 4 off rotating roster of 2 days, 2 nights and 4 off. 

The main responsibilities of this role include..

• Support training and mentoring of junior operators, promoting a positive and productive work environment

• Troubleshoot operational challenges and resolve issues promptly to minimise delay.

• Collection and delivery of product samples

• Supply of raw materials to production line via forklift

• Stacking of finished goods into the warehouse

• Operation of semi-automatic pallet wrappers

• Some loading of trucks and containers

• Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone with previous experience in a warehouse environment, strong attention to detail, a great attitude, and the ability to thrive in a busy environment. 

• Forklift experience and previous experience in using SAPand experienced in the use of RF Scanners

• Problem-solving attitude and proactive approach to supporting shift leaders and colleagues.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively

• An eye for detail and being proactive

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
