**About the role**

This is an exciting opportunity reporting through to our Group Treasurer within our growing Finance Team based in Auckland, East Tamaki. You will be working towards enhancing the Group’s profitability through the development and implementation of the Group’s Treasury policies, strategies, and procedures. There will be plenty to get involved in and to make your mark, whilst contributing to a sustainably growing NZ owned global business that offers international exposure.

The role offers variety and includes features of day-to-day operations, execution and reporting through to more strategic aspects and responsibilities. You will partner with the business, sales offices and other functions on treasury and finance related matters plus there is ample opportunity to be involved in finance/system projects and continuous improvements. The role will include the ongoing development and support of other team members.

**About You**

You will be highly enthusiastic with a growth mind-set, positive attitude and willingness to get things done. The ability to focus and prioritise, coupled with good problem solving skills, enables you to understand the detail and translate it to the bigger picture. You will be an excellent communicator and be able to build relationships at all levels of the business along with managing external stakeholder relationships.

**You will also have**:

- 7+ years accounting and/or treasury experience.
- CA qualified, or equivalent professional treasury qualification.
- Risk management experience in foreign exchange and interest rates, including market execution and strategies.
- Experience of funding and cash management.
- A sound understanding of the principles of accounting for treasury instruments.
- Treasury and/or financial systems knowledge.
- Confident in undertaking both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- General business acumen and commercial awareness.
- People leadership.
