The IT Test Manager oversees the testing phase of software changes and processes to ensure they function as designed and meet business needs. Additionally, this role is the second-in-command (2IC) to the IT Programme Manager, supporting operational project delivery for our online and store systems and departmental management. This position involves managing a team of testers, developing test strategies, and ensuring that all software changes meet the required standards before release. In addition, this role supports the wider group and involves delivering IT functions to all of the James Pascoe Group brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the testing lifecycle for IT projects, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards.

  • Develop and implement testing strategies, plans, and frameworks for both manual and automated testing.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to define test requirements and ensure alignment.

  • Oversee defect management, reporting, and performance metrics to guarantee optimal quality control.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an IT Test Manager, with a background in managing teams and complex testing environments.

  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes, with experience in both manual and automated testing.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across different departments.
