We are looking for an experienced Executive Advisor to provide essential governance support to our Executive Team and Board. **He whakamārama mo te tūranga mahi | About the role**:
As the Executive Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting KiwiRail's governance framework, providing critical administrative and advisory support to the Executive Committee and assisting with Board activities. This role ensures that our governance practices are efficient, professional, and aligned with KiwiRail’s policies and standards.
- Coordinate Executive and Executive Steering Committee meetings, agendas, and minutes while ensuring seamless information flow and collaboration with EAs for Executives and the CEO.
- Support Board and Committee activities, including meeting coordination and record management.
- Maintain high-quality governance materials to enable informed decision-making.
- Drive enhancements in governance processes, contributing to best practices.
- Balancing priorities, maintaining accuracy, and adapting to evolving needs while ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.

- Experience in governance administration or supporting executive/board-level functions.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities with flexibility and composure.
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to team success.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in business administration, governance, or related fields is essential, with governance certifications being highly regarded.
