About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
- Managing all non-financial external reporting obligations across the Summerset Group (including climate related disclosures, modern slavery, integrated annual reports and general ESG reporting)
- Implementing a framework and working with business partners to develop Summerset’s first climate related financial disclosures in compliance with XRB standards
- Assisting the Summerset Group to comply with Australian and proposed NZ modern slavery legislation, including analysis of legal and commercial risk and ensuring relevant business areas are informed
- Keeping up to date with climate reporting requirements and industry trends to be able to provide advice and guidance to the business
- Submitting on proposed regulatory change relating to governance and external reporting requirements
- Assisting the Company Secretary in managing corporate governance across the Summerset group
- Assisting the Company Secretary in embedding strong governance practices across the business and managing compliance with NZX and ASX listing rules

- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience gained in a climate change or ESG related role
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think clearly and make decisions under pressure
