**Tenei turanga - About the Role**:
The Business Systems Coordinator assists the Business Systems team in the coordination, maintenance and enhancement of the IT systems made available by the New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP) branch. You will work with MBIE, government agencies and suppliers to ensure systems are fit for purpose and meet stakeholders' needs.

The Business Systems Coordinator maintains and develops effective working relationships and adds value by providing advice which ensures that the IT systems and tools the Business Systems team supports are appropriate and meet all stakeholder needs. The Business Systems Coordinator is responsible to ensure requests for assistance are handled in a timely manner with professionalism.

To be successful in this position you will have the following skills and experience;
- Ideally previous experience as a coordinator, PA, or IT administrator.
- Committed to customer service with strong client focus.
- An understanding (or interest in learning) about IT systems.
- Experience in liaising with stakeholders, suppliers, and managers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ideally an understanding of how government works.
- Effective time management and organisational skills; able to plan and prioritise work to meet competing deadlines with willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- An ability to analyse different situations and to recommend solution.
