**About the work**:
Downer have been awarded a new contract to install, maintain and upgrade Sky TV services. We will be operating in a hybrid model, therefore seeking Expressions of Interest from **Self-Employed **Telecommunication Technicians to complete the work, so this is your chance to put your name in the hat for this work and become an **Owner Operator **with us.

As an owner operator, you will need to be the owner of a New Zealand company, receive work from our internal work management team, and manage all the installs and service calls relating to the Sky TV contract.

To undertake on behalf of Downer New Zealand:

- Installation of set top boxes, satellite dishes, cabling and related equipment at the homes and or premises of customers.
- Repair and maintenance.
- Collection of surplus equipment and cabling from the premises of commercial customers.
- Ensure a positive relationship with our customers.

**What we are looking for**:

- Minimum two to three years technical skills, experience working ideally with Sky products, such as dish and decoder installations with subsequent cabling
- Experience in installing and servicing Sky products
- **Your company will be required to hold Public Liability and Commercial Motor Vehicle insurances, as determined by Downer**:

- **Your own vehicle with a current rego & WOF, as well as a full New Zealand drivers’ licence is essential**:

- Excellent verbal communication, ability to relate to people at all levels and ensure positive relationships with customers are created and upheld
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service abilities
- Strong ownership and commitment
- Lateral, strategic thinking and problem solving
