We're looking for someone with oodles of experience in arts management, funding and administration to join our team and make great things happen for our communities.
**About the role | Ko te mahi nei**
Bring your energy to a small and busy team where your experience and ideas will be valued. This is a rare opportunity in the arts sector. You will:
- Work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Manage multiple projects at once. Your technical knowledge and expertise will assist us in the implementation and delivery of Toi Ōtautahi, our city arts strategy.
- As a team we help make Ōtautahi Christchurch a more desirable place to live, work, play and to visit all year-round. Arts events, festivals and community arts are an integral part of life in Christchurch.
**About you | Ko Koe Tēnei**
- Be confident in providing advice and direction to internal and external stakeholders relating to community arts funding and creative sector development.
- Have a minimum of three years' experience in community arts sector coordination and advisory processes.
- You will be highly organised with strong time management skills.
- Knowledge and experience working with community arts sector groups, government agencies, mana whenua, and stakeholder partners is desirable.
Delivery of Toi Ōtautahi is a collaborative effort with a range of partners, the arts sector, the education sector, and local businesses. Together we're working to strengthen communities, develop and celebrate excellent local arts and creativity, to promote our unique stories and heritage, to growing the economy and the city's reputation as a cultural powerhouse.

**Hours of work**:
- Monday to Friday, with occasional evening work as required.
**Position** - 40 hours per week (full-time), fixed term for 1 year.
**Location** - This position will be based between Te Hononga Civic Offices, 53 Hereford Street and Toi Auaha, 5 Worcester Boulevard.
