**Programme Manager**
- Support improved outcomes for tāngata whaikaha Māori and their whānau
- Part-time (20 hours per week) and flexible location
- Circa 6-month, hourly rate contract

**Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role**

The Programme Manager is responsible for the primary leadership and overall implementation of Te Ao Mārama Aotearoa Trust’s (TAMA) vision, strategy and programme of work as developed by the Board. The purpose of the role is to provide successful leadership and management of the organisation, in accordance with the direction of the Board.

The Programme Manager is accountable for the organisation’s effectiveness and efficiency and takes responsibility for the consistent achievement of its purpose and financial objectives. The position executes the Trustees strategy; advancing the TAMA’s vision and objectives.

**Ko koe tēnei | About you**

You will have proven experience establishing and delivering health services for a range of communities. You will offer a sound understanding of how to engage effectively with a range of community groups within the health and social services sector. As an established leader you will have demonstrated experience developing and managing strategic plans, management policies, business administration, operations, and service delivery.

**Key requirements**:

- A tertiary qualification and / or management experience to an equivalent level.
- Extensive demonstrated and agile leadership experience including disability / social services / not for profit sector.
- Depth of understanding of how to deliver supports in a disability rights way and in accordance with both Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Enabling Good Lives principles.
- Proven experience in engagement and relationship management
- Demonstrated experience in financial and people management of a similar organisation /business
- Demonstrated experience in inclusive employment and change management strategies
- Proven experience in advocacy, and networking with government agencies
