Take your Cost Management abilities, career and track record to date, to the next level while making a difference supporting the delivery of diverse projects across Canterbury and the surrounding regions.
You will have the opportunity to both learn from our leading Principals, designers, and project specialists, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects and programmes of work. While being based in Beca’s Christchurch office, working at Beca will provide you with access to a truly multi discipline business where you can draw upon technical experts to support delivery of significant and complex projects. You will have input into how projects are delivered, being encouraged to make suggestions, and voice your thoughts on solutions. Significant career opportunities exist including developing your consulting abilities, cost management and delivery, and technical abilities depending on how you want to shape your career.
You will be joining a passionate, dedicated local team, part of our national network of over 70 quantity surveying, cost management and cost advisory professionals, alongside a further 40+ project delivery, programme advisory and asset advisory professionals within the Southern Region.

At Beca, we do cool projects with no two being the same. This provides you with career variety both in the project types, scale, client and sectors, and procurement models including experience working collaboratively in project alliance settings. You will be supporting the growth of the region through the delivery of iconic projects such as key infrastructure, transport and built environment projects across Canterbury and the surrounding regions with clients in the education, defence, heath, transport, local and regional councils, airports and related sectors.

In this role, you will have plenty of scope for success. We are looking for Cost Management professionals from a range of backgrounds and career stages, who have a ‘can do’ attitude and a bias for action. Our culture is what unites us so you will be ready to learn, develop and share a real passion for the commercial side of project delivery with a focus on achieving great outcomes for our clients. You will enjoy working in teams, as well as having responsibility and ownership for delivery.
You will be a relationship builder, with the ability to collaborate with others on projects, particularly able to build credible relationships across designers, clients, contractors, iwi partners and community groups. You will also be passionate about learning from others, ready to listen, engage, support and positively question outcomes with a focus on great client outcomes. We also like to have fun along the way, so a good sense of humour will hold you in good stead.
